Writers on the Radio

On Tuesday 9 April, a group of Suffolk writers joined Jon Wright on BBC Radio Suffolk to discuss all things writing. I was nominated to write a piece of flash fiction, which I read at the start of the show, we each shared our work and talked about the different sorts of writing we do and there were discussions about how to get started, getting published, writing groups, rejection and resilience. Plus we all shared our favourite pieces of writing advice.

The writers are (pictured above, clockwise from the left): William Blyghton, author; Liz Ferretti, writing mentor, founder of Writer Revealed and author; Calee Fitches, playwright; Ollie Riches, playwright; Me(!), terrified writer, blogger and podcaster; Sophie Green, author; Rosie Andersen, fable writer.
